Uptown Harbour North Miami Beach
Uptown Harbour is an ambitious $1.5 billion mixed-use megaproject in North Miami Beach, developed by Dezer Development. Spanning 29 acres, it will feature 2,000 residential units, including luxury condos, rentals, and townhomes, along with a 244-key hotel. The project will also include 375,000 square feet of retail space, 200,000 square feet of office space, and over 4,700 parking spaces. Designed by Zyscovich Architects, the development will comprise eight high-rise structures, with the tallest reaching up to 48 stories. Amenities include a waterfront promenade, a 6-acre park, and essential public facilities such as a police and fire station. The project has faced controversy but ultimately secured approval, promising significant transformation for the area.
Despite initial opposition from local residents concerned about traffic and density, Uptown Harbour has secured necessary approvals, including zoning amendments and a long-term development agreement. Once completed, the project is set to become a landmark destination, blending residential, commercial, and recreational spaces in a dynamic urban environment.
